Hi, I'm Deshna Shah, a psychotherapist practicing in Pune and working with people across the world through online therapy.

Therapy with me isn’t about giving you a rulebook for life or pretending I have all the answers. It’s about creating a space where you can finally put the mask down. A space where you don’t have to perform “I’m fine.” Because some days you’re not fine… and that’s okay. We’ll work with the real you; confusion, chaos, hope, humour, all of it is welcome.

In sessions, we’ll talk, we’ll reflect, we'll rant about random things, or even sit in silence. We might also sit with some difficult emotions together. And when words feel too small, I love introducing creative elements, images, metaphors, stories - ways to express what hasn’t been said out loud yet.

I work a lot with young adults trying to find and understand themselves and working with that feeling of being overwhelmed by life while everyone else seems to be breezing through it (Spoiler: they’re not.)

This is a safe, non-judgmental, inclusive, LGBTQIA+ affirming space. You don’t have to shrink any part of yourself here.

Outside the therapy room, I’m a curious human who loves coffee runs, getting lost in bookstores, and discovering tiny joys, like the perfect playlist for a rainy evening. I laugh loudly, think deeply, and yes, I overthink what snack to order almost every single time.

Here’s what I believe: You’re not “too much,” or “too late,” or “too broken.” You’re a work in progress, like all of us. And you deserve support while you figure things out.

If you feel we might click, book your therapy session today!
Let’s take this step together, gently, at your pace.
